Your site is a great way to connect with readers and promote your work – whether it was published by Iguana or not. We just want to help you connect.

Meet Our Authors

Any Iguana author can request an Author Site and join our Meet Our Authors page. (Every Iguana Author automatically gets an Author Site; if you publish either a new title or an Iguana Digital Deprint with us, you’ll become an Iguana Author, featured on this  page.)

• Blogs

  At the heart of every Author Site is an author blog. These are Iguana-themed, easy-to-use WordPress blogs, which update from a text editor very similar to a word processor. Comments can be turned on to help you start a conversation with your readers, or turned off if they’re too much to handle. If you need help, we’re happy to get you started. Your blog is yours to do with as you please!

• Book Pages and Purchase Links

  A reader enjoying one of your books is great; a reader enjoying all of your books is even better. Your Author Site brings all your work together in one place. It’s easy for readers who like one of your books to find (and buy) your other works, even if they’re all from different publishers, or available only from certain sellers. Note that we have affiliate agreements with certain major online sellers, and we use special affiliate links when you link to one of those sellers. That gives us a referral commission — without affecting your royalty on the sale. However, you can link to any sellers you want, whether we have affiliate agreements with them or not.

• Sample Excerpt

  We encourage authors to keep their book blurbs short and let their writing speak for itself in a Sample or Excerpt. This could be material that had to be cut from one of your books, or a sneak peek at the contents of something available now. We’re happy to make available excerpts of any length to go with your Author Site

• Social Media Tools

  Readers can Like your Author Site — and with it, you and all your books — on Facebook, +1 it on Google, Tweet it to their followers, Digg it, or share it on LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, or Reddit with just a click.
